Abbey Rogues was formed by five firm friends, whose love of music was the building block for the successful group that you see and hear today..
They have been together since 2005. In this relatively short period of time they have built up a large fan base and a reputation for playing the way music was always intended to be; LIVE, LOUD and FAULTLESS!
They have been hailed “Essex’ premier sixties band” and now have such a large following, that it is not uncommon for venues to have sold out to their capacity well in advance of the performance date. They have firmly established themselves as one of the finest Rock n' Roll bands around.
The average show will consist of around fifty songs from their current ever growing repertoire.
What does the future hold for Jon Jackson, Gary Mears, Tony Martin, Marc Wotherspoon & Lee Burley? If it be stardom, success and riches, let them play on and let their success be thanks to you.
Since forming, Abbey Rogues have been requested for numerous weddings, milestone birthday parties, retirement parties and Christenings. They have also been asked to play for the 'Women’s Institute (WI)', ‘Riverfest’, 'SX Festival', 'Live and Loud @ Gateway FM', 'Kenneth Moore Theatre', 'Help for Heroes', 'Macmillan Cancer Support', 'Children in Need', Primary Immuodeficiency Association', 'Essex Air Ambulance', 'Chicago Rock Cafe', 'Battle of The Bands', ‘Trekkers’ boys club, ‘Bewicks Jam Night’, 'Cancer Research UK' & now 'Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH)'. All bookings to date have been solely from word of mouth and recommendations.
